Savage Orchid Racing

Founded in 2019, we’re a group of coworkers, colleagues, friends and family who like to race together. We compete in the 24 Hours of Lemons, endurance road-racing for cars that cost $500.

This content is intended to entertain, amuse, and perhaps inform (although following any advice we give you is strictly prohibited). We’d like to document our builds, our races, and our adventures. I’ve found most information about this sport is buried in forum posts, private facebook groups, and the collective wisdom of experienced racers. Hopefully at least one noob team finds this content, and is inspired, illuminated, or gets a chuckle at our expense.

Savage Orchid Racing operates as a 501c7 nonprofit organization in the State of Colorado. Our members are passionate about racing, car culture, mechanical tomfoolery, cosplaying, and being good humans and friends. Racing with us requires membership in our organization. Savage Orchid racing sponsors racing and social events for the benefit and enjoyment of our teams. A copy of our Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws is available upon request.
